CMMS Grading Scale:
A = 100 - 87.5
B+ = 87.5 - 81.3
B = 81.2 - 75
C+ = 74.9 - 62.5
C = 62.4 - 50
D+ = 49.9 - 37.5
D = 37.4 - 25
F = 24.9 - 0
All students start each term with an "S" in citizenship.
No one's citizenship is final until the end of the term.
Honors = 0 - 1 demerit
Satisfactory = 2 demerits &/or disruptive behavior
Needs Improvement = 3 demerits & disruptive behavior
Unsatisfactory = 4+ demerits & disruptive behavior
Ms. Swallow prefers to have rehearsals that are both rigorous AND fun. However, if she had to make a choice, she would rather her rehearsals be rigorous and effective. Good rehearsal procedure dictates that we do everything together or NOT AT ALL. Whatever will help you to remain in your seat and on-task will positively contribute to your citizenship grade. Students whose behavior compromise the effectiveness & efficiency of our rehearsals will receive Citizenship Demerits. These behaviors include (but are certainly not limited to):
~ being Tardy to class
~ disruptive or disrespectful behavior
~ chewing gum
~ any use of "sentence enhancers" during rehearsal
Students earning a "U" for Citizenship may be asked to find another class.
